Data protection and data security

When registering learners, course leaders and courses, the DVV collects and processes obligatory and voluntary information. The DVV only uses this information to execute the member contract with ich-will-deutsch-lernen.de and to develop the platform further.
You may change your profile data independently at any time. In order to withdraw your consent to the processing and use of the voluntary information you provided on registration, please send an e-mail to info@iwdl.de.

Members of ich-will-deutsch-lernen.de need an e-mail address to register. You will only receive system messages and current information from the administrators of ich-will-deutsch-lernen.de at this address.  Your e-mail address will not be published anywhere in the portal.

In the “Portfolio” area of ich-will-deutsch-lernen.de, members have the opportunity to share their own documents with others. Each member can decide which members can see and comment on these documents and can also change these settings at any time.

On educational and administrative grounds and to ensure that they have an overview of how learners on their courses are using ich-will-deutsch-lernen.de, online tutors will be able to see the following learner information when using the “Learning process” function: user name (log-in name), real name, first log-in date, an overview of learning successes at each level to date and an overview of skills/competence.
The online tutors only use this information to support their course members’ learning processes.

The DVV protects the personal data of ich-will-deutsch-lernen.de members. The DVV does not pass on data to third parties except to fulfil a legal obligation (e.g. during the course of criminal investigations); only the information which the DVV is legally obliged to provide will be passed on in such cases.
